We are confident of achieving victory in Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his confidence on Saturday in achieving victory in Ukraine, while he was supervising a military parade in Red Square, to commemorate the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II, according to the Associated Press (AP) on Saturday.
In his speech at the military parade, Putin praised Russian forces fighting in Ukraine, declaring that they “face an aggressive force armed and supported by the entire NATO bloc.”
“Victory has always been ours and will remain so,” Putin added, as rows of soldiers lined up in Red Square. “The key to success lies in our moral strength, our courage, our valor, our unity, and our ability to bear anything and overcome any challenge.”
The Russian Sputnik news agency quoted Putin as saying in a speech on the occasion of the eighty-first anniversary of the victory over Nazism in the “Great Patriotic” War: “I congratulate you on Victory Day – our sacred, bright, and most important holiday! We celebrate it with feelings of pride and love for our homeland. We realize our common duty to defend the interests and future of our homeland. We celebrate it with deep gratitude to the great generation of victors.”
