Launching a new batch of the program "Mohammed bin Rashid to prepare leaders"

DUBAI, 9 MAY / WAM / The Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development, affiliated with the Executive Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, announced the launch of the 2026-2027 batch of the “Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Development Programme”, which represents an integrated leadership development journey to prepare Emirati leaders capable of managing strategic and transformational projects, enhancing their readiness to deal with changing environments, and keeping pace with accelerating global transformations in various vital sectors.

The program, which is based on the leadership system of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, embodies an ambitious vision that aims to enable national competencies to move from the stage of ambition to achievement, and from the idea to building sustainable work systems, and from the functional role to long-term leadership impact, by establishing the concepts of creative thinking, innovation, and a forward-looking mentality capable of understanding the future and creating it, and employing modern technologies, most notably artificial intelligence in… Decision making.

Applications for the program are made through the website of the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development: www.mbrcld.ae. It targets 30 national leadership cadres in government and semi-government agencies and the private sector, in addition to entrepreneurs. It includes 7 specialized courses that combine theoretical and applied aspects of the latest leadership trends, under the supervision of 100 international experts and 20 Emirati leaders, which contributes to transferring expertise and enhancing the leadership capabilities of the participants.

Members of the program are selected based on a careful evaluation process based on the leadership system of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and accredited international programmes.

His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Chairman of the Executive Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, said: “The Mohammed bin Rashid Program for Leadership Preparation embodies the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in establishing an integrated national system for preparing leaders in accordance with the highest international standards, which contributes to building leadership generations capable of anticipating the future, leading major transformations, and making a positive and sustainable impact in various vital sectors.”

His Excellency added that the program is a strategic platform for qualifying national competencies and refining their leadership skills, through a comprehensive experience that combines theoretical tracks and practical training, in partnership with the most prestigious academic institutions and international think tanks, which enhances the participants’ abilities to make bold and thoughtful decisions, and enables them to deal with high efficiency with the rapid changes in the work environments, thus consolidating the leadership position of the UAE and Dubai globally.

His Excellency pointed out that the next stage requires leaders who possess flexibility, innovation and a forward-looking vision, which are basic pillars that the program seeks to establish among the participants, in a way that enhances their readiness to contribute effectively to the comprehensive development process witnessed by the UAE, and to develop innovative solutions that contribute to enhancing the sustainability of institutions and their impact. His Excellency called on ambitious national competencies to seize this opportunity and join the program to benefit from its qualitative outcomes.

The Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Development Program is based on an integrated system that enriches the leadership development journey and contributes to transforming learning into actual practice and tangible impact, through executive training designed to enhance the individual growth of leaders, and the development of leadership projects that address realistic challenges and translate into added value, in addition to counseling and guidance sessions that deepen the experience and accelerate the pace of learning, as well as direct interaction with inspiring leadership experiences at the local and global levels.

The program organizes two international trips for participants with the aim of learning about the best international practices in leadership sciences, and interacting with an elite group of global experts and leaders, which enhances effective communication skills with people from different backgrounds and cultures, and allows identifying successful leadership models and applying their methods and approaches in work environments.

The program includes exclusive sessions that bring together participants with senior leaders and decision-makers, with the aim of benefiting from their practical experiences and acquiring knowledge and experiences that contribute to enhancing leadership capabilities.

Each member is accompanied by an executive mentor with extensive experience, who provides him with support and guidance to develop his leadership skills, works with him to develop effective strategies to achieve his professional and personal goals, and enhances confidence in his abilities to manage major teams and projects.

Upon completion of the program, participants will join an elite alumni network that includes approximately 1,200 of the most prominent Emirati leaders, allowing them to participate in high-level leadership events, in addition to benefiting from continuous paths of leadership development and qualification.

It is noteworthy that the number of applicants for the previous session of the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Development Program reached 2,440 citizens from various sectors, of whom 30 participants were selected according to precise criteria and underwent an integrated training program that contributed to developing their leadership capabilities and refining their skills.
