"Trends" He concludes his participation in "Kazan Forum" With research contributions and signing a cooperation agreement

Kazan, May 18 / WAM / TrendsGlobal, through its office in Russia of the Trends Group, concluded its participation in the work of the Kazan International Economic Forum “Russia – the Islamic World” 2026, by participating in a dialogue session entitled “Integrating advanced technologies and digital transformation in culture and creative industries”, within the framework of strengthening the dialogue between Russia and the Islamic world on the future of the creative and technological economy.
He also signed a cooperation agreement with the Russian Strategic Initiatives Agency that opens new horizons for knowledge exchange.
Dr. Mohamed Abdel Moneim Rashwan, Director of the Trends office in Moscow, said in an intervention on behalf of Trends during the session that the relationship between creativity and technology is no longer an additional option, but has become an economic necessity imposed by global digital transformations, stressing the importance of developing public policies capable of integrating advanced technology into the cultural and creative industries.
He explained that the most prominent challenges are the absence of clear regulatory frameworks for digital creative products, the weakness of incentives linking technology support and support for creative industries, in addition to the complexities related to intellectual property rights in light of the expansion of the use of artificial intelligence techniques in creative production.
The session reviewed a number of successful international experiences, including the experience of the Republic of Korea in linking technology with digital content and the gaming and entertainment industries, in addition to the efforts of the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in promoting the creative economy and linking it to digital transformation.
She stressed the importance of developing joint regulatory frameworks and launching investment funds to support emerging companies in the field of creative technology, in addition to building clear legal systems to protect intellectual property rights associated with the use of artificial intelligence in cultural industries.
Trends Global signed a strategic cooperation and knowledge partnership agreement with the Russian Strategic Initiatives Agency, with the aim of enhancing scientific and research exchange between the two sides, and opening new and sustainable horizons for international partnership.
It included a package of qualitative initiatives focused on empowering young people’s capabilities and qualifying them as future leaders, in addition to launching joint projects in the fields of advanced scientific research, technology policies, and artificial intelligence applications.
