Yousra reveals a surprise about humans and jinn.. Why did Adel Imam choose the role of jinn?

During her hosting of the “Beit Murad” program with writer Ahmed Murad on the “On” channel, Yousra said that upon her first reading of the script, she expected Adel Imam to play the human character, but she was surprised by his choice to present the jinn character.

She explained that Adel Imam saw the role as a different challenge that would give him a new space to present an unusual performance, so he decided to experiment from the beginning.

Yousra pointed out that horror films today rely heavily on scenes of violence and blood, while “Humans and Jinn” presented a different situation, pointing out that children at that time became attached to the character of the jinn and interacted with it remarkably.

In terms of her new works, Yousra is awaiting the release of the movie “The Lady Lama” in theaters, in which she embodies the personality of the journalist Dina Al-Kurdi, who runs a center for women’s support and empowerment and leads a campaign on social media to support women in facing family problems and marital disputes.

She also recently finished filming the movie “Faten’s Daughters,” with the participation of Bassem Samra, Hoda Al-Mufti, Basma Nabil, Islam Mubarak, and Hamdi Heikal. It was written by Omnia Mostafa and directed by Mohamed Nader.

In drama, Yousra continues filming the series “Qalb Shams” with Mohamed Sami, which deals with social and humanitarian issues related to family relations and the challenges of daily life in Egyptian society. (Al Ain)
