Singer Maria Sarkis achieved great success with her song Big Story
After the remarkable success achieved by the song “Big Story,” and the wide interaction that accompanied it across various platforms, artist Maria Sarkis said: Frankly, “her song is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever worked on, and I believed in it from the first moment I heard it.”
She added: “I felt that it resembled me and reflected part of my personality, and this is what made me stick to it and present it with all sincerity. I believe that one of the most important reasons for its success is that it belongs to the currently popular type of music that the audience loves, in addition to the fact that its idea is close to people, especially girls, because it carries a message of self-confidence and self-esteem. Also, the words and melody were presented in a simple, attractive and easy-to-memorize style, which contributed to it quickly reaching the audience and achieving this beautiful interaction.”
Sarkis pointed out that the lyrics of the song express her personality, and continued: “When I say that I am ‘original gold’, I am talking about self-confidence and self-belief, and I believe that every girl should trust herself and realize her true value. Therefore, I felt that the lyrics of the song express me sincerely. As for the artistic level, I feel that with each new work I am more able to establish my own identity and present different aspects of my personality to the public, and this is what gradually helps me build a distinctive artistic imprint.”
She concluded by saying: “I am currently working on a group of new artistic projects. Anyone who knows me and follows my career knows that I love singing in more than one dialect and language, and I always strive to diversify my artistic work, because I love different musical styles and I hope to present songs in various dialects to reach the largest segment of the Arab audience. As for my concert in Lebanon, a large public concert was scheduled to be held, but it was postponed due to the current situation. I was very excited for this evening, Especially since it would have been my first concert in Lebanon, the country that I always carry in my heart, even though I am currently working outside the country, and despite the postponement, I am still awaiting this meeting with great eagerness, and I hope that I will soon meet the Lebanese audience in a concert worthy of them and their constant love and support, and that it will be an exceptional and unforgettable evening.
