المملكة: 21 workshops, 60 employers, and 690 projects at the Career and Innovation Forum at Umm Al-Qura University

Development of tourism human capabilities at the Ministry of Tourism, Engineer Razan Al-Ayed, along with a number of officials, academics, experts, and those interested in the tourism sector.
The organization of the forum comes within the framework of supporting the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, by enhancing the alignment of education outcomes with the needs of the tourism labor market, empowering national competencies, and supporting the innovation environment Relevant sectors.
The forum is accompanied by a number of events, most notably the professional employment exhibition, the tourism and hospitality exhibition, and the graduation projects exhibition, which includes more than 690 projects, in addition to the tourism innovation hackathon projects exhibition, and the provision of professional consultations, in addition to the signing of eight partnerships and cooperation agreements between the university and a number of government and private agencies.
The President of Umm Al-Qura University, Professor Dr. Maadi Al Madhab said that the forum comes within the university’s efforts to enhance the readiness of national competencies to lead the future of the tourism sector, through developing academic and training programs and building partnerships with various relevant parties.
He pointed out that the forum represents a platform that combines education, training, employment and innovation, and contributes to supporting graduates, entrepreneurs and innovators, in addition to reviewing modern practices in the fields of tourism and hospitality.
The forum targets graduates and researchers. About the work of entrepreneurs and innovators, in addition to tourism and hospitality companies, hotels, museums and service providers, in a way that enhances the development of human capital in the tourism sector.
