Ras Al Khaimah, 9 June / WAM / The Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah will organize next Thursday, the “Covenant and Promise” Forum at the Cultural Center in Ras Al Khaimah, under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, within the framework of supporting the national and community “Covenant and Promise” initiative launched by a large number of segments of Emirati society, to embody the highest meanings of gratitude, appreciation and gratitude to His Highness. The organization of the forum comes under the slogan “A Pledge of Loyalty and a Promise of Belonging” in light of the wide interaction that the initiative enjoys at the state level, as it is a symbolic and national message that expresses the loyalty of the people of the Emirates and those residing in its land to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” and renews the pledge of belonging, loyalty, and work for the continuation of the process of development and prosperity that the Emirates is witnessing in various fields.
The organizers emphasized that the “Covenant and Promise” Forum aims to introduce the local community in Ras Al Khaimah, with its various categories and diversity, to the “Covenant and Promise” initiative and explain the nature of the initiative as a comprehensive community and national platform that reflects the spirit of community cohesion that characterizes Emirati society. They pointed out that the initiative was launched with broad participation from various segments of Emirati society, both citizens and residents, through digital voting open to all, in a civilized image that expresses the unity of the national ranks and rallying around wise leadership.
They stressed that the forum focuses on highlighting the values of the “Covenant and Promise” initiative, which carries important national and humanitarian dimensions, as it emphasizes the values of loyalty and pride in the homeland and its leadership, in addition to consolidating the concepts of social responsibility and joint work for a brighter future for future generations, in light of the comprehensive development vision led by His Highness the President of the State, “may God protect him.”
The forum, which lasts for one day, includes an integrated program that combines national, cultural, artistic and societal aspects, as it begins with the screening of a documentary film reviewing the “Covenant and Promise” initiative, its objectives, its societal mission and mechanisms for participation in it, in addition to monitoring the large amount of popular interaction that the initiative has achieved since its launch, and its role in promoting the values of belonging and loyalty among the various segments of society. This is followed by a speech by His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sandooq Al Watan, in which he addresses The “Covenant and Promise” initiative, as an optional social and national initiative, carries a symbolic message from Emirati society with all its components to His Highness the President of the State, affirming the meanings of loyalty, belonging and fulfillment, and at the same time reflecting the insistence on continuing work and achievement behind the wise leadership.
During his speech, His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak highlights the cultural model that this initiative represents that expresses the authentic Emirati values based on loyalty, tolerance and community solidarity, as well as its role in establishing a culture of positive participation and enhancing national awareness among individuals of all age and social groups.
