Warning of major floods

5 shelter centers in schools
Federal Emergency Management Agency teams prepared more than 1 million liters of water and 1.2 million meals in preparation for the hurricane, as well as 6,700 beds and 90 generators.
Five shelter centers were also opened in schools, with a capacity of 1,900 people, most of whom are residents of vulnerable housing.
Since Saturday, long queues have formed. From cars in front of gas stations in the city of Saipan in the Northern Mariana Islands, while residents flocked to building materials stores to buy wood panels to seal their homes, and to supermarkets to stock up on food and bottled water.
