المملكة: The Governor of Al-Ahsa congratulates King Faisal University for achieving 35th place globally in the Times rankings
His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr, Governor of Al-Ahsa, received in his Highness’s office at the governorate headquarters today, Tuesday, the President of King Faisal University, Dr. Adel bin Muhammad Abu Zanada, accompanied by a number of the university’s deputies and leaders, on the occasion of Global Achievement, stressing that what the university has achieved embodies its distinction and leadership in the fields of education, research, innovation and sustainability, and reflects the advanced position that educational institutions have reached in the Kingdom, thanks to the support and empowerment it enjoys from the wise leadership – may God support it -, noting that these achievements contribute to enhancing the Kingdom’s competitiveness and its presence in international indicators, wishing the university and its employees continued success and continuing to achieve more successes

His Highness reviewed the annual report for the year 2025, and highlighted Initiatives and programs that contributed to achieving this achievement, and the qualitative development it reflects in the university’s performance and its leadership in the fields of education, research, innovation, community service, and sustainability, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and enhances its position in global performance and competitiveness indicators.
For his part, the President of King Faisal University thanked His Highness the Governor of Al-Ahsa for his support, interest, and continuous follow-up, stressing that this achievement comes as an extension of the great support that he receives. The education sector in the Kingdom has been supported by wise leadership – may God support it – and the continuous support and follow-up of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Chairman of the Council of University Affairs, which has contributed to Saudi universities achieving qualitative achievements at the regional and international levels.
