Cooperation between Dubai Holding to manage the complexes and"Union Esco" To enhance energy efficiency in Dubai residential complexes
DUBAI, 7 JULY / WAM / Dubai Holding for Complex Management and Etihad Energy Services Company (Etihad ESCO) announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding to enhance energy efficiency efforts and support sustainability initiatives in the complexes managed by Dubai Holding for Complex Management.
The memorandum was signed by Francis Gianni, CEO of Dubai Holding for Complex Management, and Dr. Walid Al Nuaimi, CEO of Etihad Energy Services Company (Etihad ESCO).
The memorandum combines Dubai Holding’s sustainability-based approach to complex management with the technical expertise of Etihad Energy Services Company (Etihad ESCO) in energy management.
It is scheduled to complete projects that improve current energy use, enhance monitoring and measurement, and provide new solutions to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability.
The MoU will focus on three main areas: implementing energy efficiency improvement projects, providing solar energy solutions for residential complexes, and facilitating knowledge exchange to pilot new sustainability initiatives.
Francis Gianni said that the partnership with (Etihad ESCO) reflects a commitment to creating a long-term positive impact, driven by a common goal focused on the future, and in line with the Dubai Energy and Water Demand Management Strategy 2050, pointing out the compatibility of the technical expertise and leadership of (Etihad ESCO) in the field of energy efficiency with Dubai Holding’s vision for complex management to enable sustainable facilities, practices and lifestyles in the complexes.
For his part, Dr. Walid Al Nuaimi said that the partnership with Dubai Holding to manage the complexes embodies (Etihad ESCO) the mission aimed at leading the transformation of the urban environment in Dubai by providing innovative solutions for energy efficiency.
He added that by combining solar energy technologies, retrofits and smart meters, we aim to make a tangible and measurable impact that is in line with the Dubai Energy and Water Demand Management Strategy 2050, as well as the broader sustainability goals of the UAE.
Residents, owners and partners of Dubai Holding’s community management will benefit from energy-efficient equipment, access to renewable energy options, smarter monitoring tools, and increased awareness of environmental impact.
