Hossam Habib began his defense of Sherine, criticizing Taher, the brother of the late composer Mohamed Rahim, without mentioning his name, due to his extensive media appearances since his brother’s death, noting that Sherine realized her mistake by apologizing directly on stage, and Hossam said about Rahim’s brother: “He caught a slip of the tongue, and he did not listen, and it did not cross his mind that she honored him, was proud of his work with her, and asked thousands of people to attend, and millions of viewers to recite Al-Fatihah and pray for him.”
