$2.2 billion in tourism revenues in Tunisia since the beginning of the year

Tunisia, December 3, 2017: Tourism revenues in Tunisia from the beginning of this year until last November exceeded 2.2 billion US dollars.
According to the National Tourism Office, the number of incoming tourists reached approximately 9.9 million visitors, and the number is expected to exceed 10 million by the end of this year, which is a record number.
The tourism sector contributes 9% of Tunisia’s gross domestic product, employs nearly 400,000 workers, and is a primary source of the country’s foreign exchange reserves.
