156 million dirhams in profits "International trade" Before tax in the first half

Abu Dhabi, July 30 / WAM / Commercial International Bank recorded net pre-tax profits of 156 million dirhams during the first half of the current year, a growth of 68% compared to the same period last year, driven by the expansion of the balance sheet and the processing of previous files.
During the second quarter of the year, the bank achieved 104 million dirhams in net profits before tax, as net interest income rose 8% year-on-year to 207 million dirhams.
The bank reported that it recorded 69 million dirhams net recovery of impairment provisions, as a result of settling the outstanding issues, which contributed to enhancing the quality of assets in general.
Total assets rose to 23 billion dirhams, an increase of 12% year-on-year, and customer deposits grew 7% to 16.4 billion dirhams, recording an increase of 7% year-on-year, which reinforced the bank’s strong liquidity position and financing base. The bank also maintained capital adequacy at 16.5.
Ali Sultan Rakad Al Ameri, CEO of Commercial International Bank, said that the results of the first half of 2026 reflect the continued positive momentum of the strategic transformation process implemented by the bank, as we achieved strong growth in profits thanks to the disciplined implementation of our strategy, improving the efficiency of the balance sheet, and making tangible progress in addressing outstanding issues from previous periods.
