Bahrain is second in the Gulf and fifth in the Arab world with the cheapest price of gasoline in the world

Bahrain ranked fifth in the Arab world and second in the Gulf as the cheapest country in gasoline prices until November 2024, while it ranked 11th globally, according to a report published by the “Global Petroleum Price” website.
The report indicated that the price of a liter of gasoline in Bahrain reached about 531 US cents, which is equivalent to 200 fils, while Libya ranked first in the Arab world and second in the world in terms of low gasoline prices, which reached 31 cents per liter, which is equivalent to 11 fils, followed by Kuwait, 341 cents per liter. Then Egypt at 343 cents.
Algeria came in fourth place in the Arab world and seventh in the world, with a price of 344 cents, followed by Bahrain with 531 cents, Qatar with 577 cents, and Saudi Arabia with 620 cents per liter.
The index ranked the Sultanate of Oman eighth in the Arab world, fifth in the Gulf, and 16th globally in gasoline prices, which reached 620 cents, then Iraq, 649 cents. The UAE ranked sixth in the Gulf, with 716 cents, equivalent to 271 fils, and Lebanon, 722 US cents.
While Hong Kong came in first place in terms of the highest price of gasoline in the world at $3,307, which is equivalent to 1,248 dinars, and Iran was the lowest in the world at 29 US cents per liter of gasoline, knowing that the average price of gasoline around the world is $1.24. per liter.
