"Empower" Start operating the station "Jumeirah Beach Hills" To cool areas

Dubai, 4 December / WAM / The Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower) announced the launch of operations at the Jumeirah Beach Hills District Cooling Station, as part of the first phase.
The corporation explained that the total production capacity of the station will reach 48 thousand tons of refrigeration once all its stages are completed, which serves the Jumeirah area, which is known as one of the most prestigious residential and tourist destinations in the Emirate of Dubai.
She confirmed that the construction of Jumeirah Beach Hills Station was carried out in accordance with the highest international standards, which are in line with the standards of sustainable green buildings and the modern urban developments of the Emirate of Dubai, as its engineering design mimics the general appearance of the region and the architectural identity of its buildings.
Among the most prominent tourism projects that the station will serve are Burj Al Arab, the most luxurious hotels around the world, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Marsa Al Arab, Madinat Jumeirah Living, and Al Naseem Jumeirah Hotel. In the future, the station will serve other projects, such as Souq Madinat Jumeirah, Jumeirah Al Qasr Hotel, Jumeirah Mina A’Salam Hotel, and others.
His Excellency Ahmed bin Shafar, CEO of Empower, said that the corporation continues to implement expansion plans in providing its services to various high-quality, large, multi-use projects in various regions of Dubai, ensuring its leadership in the district cooling industry and providing high-quality, environmentally friendly service to customers.
He explained that the station uses advanced cooling technologies, characterized by the lowest energy and water consumption, as it includes two thermal energy storage units, and chillers with advanced technologies to enhance the efficiency of energy consumption during peak hours.
