The Hail region is rich in mineral treasures worth more than 72.3 billion riyals

The official spokesman for the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, Jarrah Al-Jarrah, said that the Hail region is rich in qualitative mineral ores, and a reservoir of precious metals, which include gold, silver, copper, zinc and lead, in addition to bauxite.

Al-Jarrah stated that the estimated value of mineral resources in the region amounts to 72.3 billion riyals, where the value of bauxite is estimated at 50.466 billion riyals, the value of gold is approximately 14.126 billion riyals, while the value of zinc is 3.465 billion riyals, and the value of copper is estimated at 2.872 billion riyals. riyals, silver metal is worth one billion riyals, and the value of lead metal in the region is 15 million riyals.
Al-Jarrah reported that the Hail region includes two gold and sulphide mineralized belts, and also contains three sites for reserves of rare earth elements, minerals and industrial ores, in addition to silica sand and white sand. He pointed out that the region also includes 16 approved mining complexes, including 8 sand complexes and 4 sand complexes. Silica, two granite complexes, a gravel complex, and a magnesite complex.
Regarding the development of the industrial sector in the Hail region, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources said that the region has a large and diversified industrial base, with the number of factories in it reaching 154 producing factories and under construction, and 95% of the industrial facilities are concentrated in the city of Hail and the Al-Shannan and Al-Khattah governorates, pointing out that The most prominent industrial sectors in Hail include food products, building materials, chemicals, machinery and equipment.
