ENOC celebrates the completion of the pipeline connection project "Horizon JPUT" In Singapore

DUBAI, 4 December / WAM / ENOC Group announced the successful completion of the “Horizon JBUT” pipeline link project in Singapore. The project included the construction of a new pipeline platform linking the two storage stations, Horizon Singapore Storage Limited and Jurong Port Universal Storage Limited (JPUT), via a 24-inch diameter pipeline dedicated to fuel oil and another 20-inch diameter line for transporting clean petroleum products. The project contributes In reducing transportation times between the two stations and mitigating operational risks, with significant cost savings since the operation of the first pipelines last January.

Horizon Singapore Storage was established in 2006, and is located next to Jurong Port Universal Storage, which was established in 2007. The two companies witnessed long-term cooperation that included multiple projects, most notably the construction of a fire water line in 2009, which paved the way for the implementation of the current pipeline project.

The project works to reduce dependence on short-range shipping operations, which contributes to reducing ship traffic in the port and enhancing the safety of long-range maritime transport. It also contributes to reducing carbon emissions, in line with ENOC’s efforts to achieve environmental sustainability.
