3,080 new construction licenses in Ajman during the first half of 2025, an increase of 300%

Ajman on August 6 / WAM / The Municipal Department of Planning and Planning announced the issuance of 3080 new construction licenses during the first half of this year 2025, recording a record increase of more than 300% compared to the same period of previous years.
This standard jump comes within the framework of Ajman 2030 vision directions aimed at creating a civilized environment that enhances the emirate’s attractiveness and quality of life in it, and to achieve the strategic goal of a comprehensive urban management.

Dr. Eng. Muhammad Ahmed bin Omair Al -Muhairi, Executive Director of the Infrastructure Development Sector in the department, stressed that this striking jump in the number of licenses issued reflects the status of Ajman as an ideal destination for living, thanks to its environment in support of stability and investment, infrastructure facilities, and advanced digital services, which contribute to promoting the sustainability of the construction and construction sector in the emirate.

Al -Muhairi pointed out that the department is working to facilitate construction procedures, accelerate operations through modern systems and smart linking with the relevant authorities, which contributed to reducing the duration of the issuance of licenses and improving the experience of customers.

The price of the efforts qualified in building management, explaining that this achievement reflects the effectiveness of the department’s operational plans and its ability to keep pace with the urban expansion witnessed by the emirate.

Al -Muhairi said that the record increase in the number of new construction licenses reflects the growing urban movement in the emirate, and embodies the high demand for housing and commercial units, in line with the aspirations of the population.
He explained that these positive indicators come in parallel with qualitative improvements in the efficiency of the city’s operations, the success of planning policies, and their ability to respond to all variables, in order to achieve a balance between urban growth and sustainability, and reflects the readiness of the infrastructure to accommodate the accelerated urban expansion.
