The awards won by the play and produced by the Ministry of Community Development included obtaining third place for the best integrated work, shared equally with the play “The Ship Is Still Standing” from the Sultanate of Oman, while the artist Naji Jumaa won the award for the best non-disabled actor, shared equally with the artist Faisal Rasheed, for his role in the play. “Al Dana” from Qatar, in addition to Fatima Saleh winning first place in the category of Best Actresses with Disabilities, and Mohammed Rashid Al Ghafli won second place as Best Actor with Disabilities and in the Artistic Awards category. The play won the award for best theatrical script, and Hamad Bilal Al Shehhi received a special incentive award for his role in the play.

During the first session of the “Creativity and Excellence Award for Persons with Disabilities in the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries,” which was launched during the festival, Hessa Mohammed Al Mandoos was given an appreciation award in the “Creative Persons” category in support of the winners’ innovations that contributed to solutions for people with disabilities..

Six theatrical performances from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries competed within the activities of the “Theatre Festival for Persons with Disabilities.” The artistic events of the play “A Lifetime Journey” revolved around an employee of the visually impaired person who works for years on a train and memorizes every place on it, which makes anyone who sees it think He sees what is around him, but he faces some complications with society due to his disability. The play was written by Abdullah Al-Saad and directed by Hamad Al-Mazmi.
