“Health” launches the global health survey 2025

The Ministry of Health has started its field visits within the framework of the global health survey 2025, based on the methodologies and arrangements of the Global Health Survey (WHS+). The Ministry aims to develop health services, monitor public health patterns and health behavior in society, reflecting the progress made by the Kingdom in achieving sustainable development goals, in line with the targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision in improving the quality of life.

The Ministry stated that the health survey targets a representative sample of citizens and residents in various regions of the Kingdom, through individual and family questionnaires, including demographic information, health condition, and risk factors, as well as data related to the health system, and the survey covers more than 14 thousand families and individual in 13 administrative areas through health communities; In order to enhance the health information system and determine national priorities in the health sector.

The health survey also aims to provide an accurate database on the health status of the population, measure the progress made in the indicators of sustainable development goals, as well as support early detection efforts for chronic diseases, enhance health behavioral awareness, and direct the development of health services in line with the needs of society.

The Ministry of Health called on all individuals and families covered in the sample to cooperation and active participation in the health survey.
