المملكة: Al-Jalajel signs a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation with his Chinese counterpart
During the meeting, opportunities for joint cooperation in the health fields were discussed, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance cooperation in facing health challenges, and to enhance the benefit of expertise to improve the quality of health services in the Kingdom.

Facing health challenges
During the meeting, the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at enhancing cooperation in various health aspects, including building on the strong partnership that was established during the Covid-19 pandemic in the aspect of epidemic prevention, preparedness and control, and supporting international organizations and multilateral mechanisms to confront health challenges. Global, and establishing strategic partnerships in health care to exploit the many opportunities to achieve health transformation goals in both countries.
During the meeting, Al-Jalajel expressed his appreciation for the invitation extended to him by his Chinese counterpart, praising the great progress achieved in both the Kingdom and China in the fields of health, technology, research, development and innovation.

His Excellency stressed the importance of continuing to develop fruitful cooperation in the health field, pointing to the depth of historical relations between the two countries and the importance of developing health cooperation that benefits the health of the individual and society.
He said: “It gives me great pleasure to visit the People’s Republic of China to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation in the fields of health that are based on the health of the individual and society, as health is the basis of the well-being of nations and sustainable development.”
His Excellency was accompanied on the visit by a high-level health delegation of officials from the Ministry and the Kingdom’s health system.
