Expected hotel occupancy rate of up to 95% during the holiday

Bahrain was decorated in red and white in preparation for celebrating national holidays, while hotels prepared to receive visitors to celebrate this national occasion, by offering different activities and events, with expectations of a hotel occupancy rate of up to 95% during the National Day holiday, which falls on December 16 and 17 of this year.

The CEO of Areen Hospitality, Dr. Issa Fakih, revealed that the impact on the economic sector in the Kingdom will witness a positive change, and the large and remarkable hotel sector will attract tourists, especially with regard to the celebrations and events that Bahrain is holding during this period.

Fakih said that there are various packages, especially for visitors to the Chart House, Raffles, or Pearl House, or that include wellness or spa, dinner, and family rooms.

He added that Lost Paradise will also provide a range of special offers for visitors, such as beach packages and a “winter atmosphere” package that includes upscale tents with barbecues for all visitors.

The CEO of Areen Hospitality Company expected that hotel occupancy during this period would reach 95%, praising the good organization and preparation of the Kingdom through the efforts of the Ministry of Tourism and the Tourism and Exhibitions Authority for these celebrations that befit Bahrain and highlight its international and global status.

For his part, General Manager of the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Charbel Hanna, confirmed that National Day celebrations contribute significantly to enhancing economic activity by increasing demand in the tourism and hospitality sectors, as hotels and restaurants are witnessing an increase in activity, which creates a positive impact on the Bahraini economy.

Hanna said that hotels witnessed a noticeable increase this year in reservations from all Gulf countries, which reflects the attractiveness of the special offers and everyone’s enthusiasm coinciding with the Kingdom’s National Day celebrations.

The General Manager of the Crowne Plaza Hotel explained that all hotels are preparing to receive this national joy filled with happiness, which means a lot to the citizens of the Kingdom and neighboring friendly countries.

He pointed out that there are special experiences that the hotel will offer to visitors during the coming period, which include many amazing offers and discounts of up to 30% on food and beverages for IHG One Rewards members, and staying two nights and getting the third free.
