A poetic essay enriches the literary scene at the Mecca Cultural and Literary Club

The Mecca Literary Cultural Club hosted a poetry session via the Zoom platform that brought together an elite group of prominent poets in the field of modern Arabic poetry, and witnessed a remarkable presence from those interested in literature and culture, in an atmosphere characterized by creativity and excellence. The session was moderated by Dr. Badriya Al-Fahmi, who began the meeting with a welcome speech in which she shed light on the importance of such as: These literary events.
The celebration began with the participation of the poet Dr. Ensaf Bukhari, who at the beginning of her speech expressed her gratitude to the Mecca Cultural and Literary Club for this invitation, saying: When our club calls to us, the Mecca Cultural and Literary Club, we have no choice but to respond to this edifice that housed the symbols of literature and its prominent scholars and critics, and was a milestone in the movement. literature in the Kingdom for many decades.

This was followed by the participation of the poet Dr. Mutlaq Al-Habardi, who at the beginning of his speech expressed his thanks to the Mecca Cultural and Literary Club, saying: I extend my sincere thanks to the Mecca Cultural and Literary Club, represented by its president, Dr. Hamid Al-Rubaie, for his continued interest in poetry and poets and for this generous invitation, which I am proud of.

The session was concluded by poet Turki Al-Dhait, who spoke of his happiness at participating in this literary meeting, saying: I feel extremely happy because we are moving in the poetry space with fellow poets with whom I am honored to attend. This meeting reflects the spirit of creative interaction that we need to develop our literary scene.

Then he presented a number of his poetic texts that were well-received by the audience, the most prominent of which were Insomnia, No Time, In Time, The Range Was a Travel, With the Heart Feeling Imaginative, The Hand of Prophecy, and The Hadith of the Branch.
At the conclusion of the session, the meeting witnessed great interaction from the attendees, who provided valuable interventions that contributed to highlighting the poetic aesthetics presented by the participants, which added new dimensions to the discussion and contributed to strengthening communication between poets and the public.
This poetic contribution comes within the efforts of the Mecca Cultural and Literary Club to support the literary movement in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and promote cultural dialogue that contributes to developing the local literary scene and consolidating its position on the Arab and international scene.
