المملكة: Lovebirds, cockatiels and goldens dazzle visitors to the “United” exhibition for ornamental birds in Qatif

Six Saudi bird clubs across the Kingdom presented 1,200 birds of many different types. They competed in the “United” exhibition, which was held in the Esperance Club hall in Qatif. All the birds competed to win 6 birds, so that their owners would be crowned champions of the second United Bird Event in the Kingdom.
This event aims to consolidate the culture of bird breeding, encourage the exchange of experiences, and display rare breeds in a positive competitive atmosphere to win prizes for the best birds.
The exhibition witnessed wide participation from clubs specialized in raising different types of birds, such as: lovebirds, cockatiels, jaguas, golden finch, zebras, and budgerigars. The importance of the exhibition was increased by the presence of an international jury of experts, which enriched the diversity of knowledge in the field of bird breeding.
For his part, the director of the second annual Mutahidoon exhibition, member of the Saudi Budgerigar Club, and member of the Saudi Lovebird Club, Hussein Al-Qaisum, confirmed that this second annual exhibition, “United,” in which a group of breeders and those interested in birds from the eastern region and from various parts of the Kingdom participate, is considered the largest ornamental bird exhibition in The Kingdom, which includes 6 clubs from the Kingdom, including the Saudi Budgie Club, the Saudi Lovebird Club, and the Saudi Lovebird Club. The Zebra Club, the Saudi Java Club, the Saudi Gouldian Finch Club, the Saudi Cockatiel Club, and the women’s team, the Family Teams Talking Birds Team.
He pointed out that the number of participants in this exhibition is more than 250, with the number of birds being 1,200 participating birds. In each club, birds are selected to win and then a champion for the division is chosen from this elite. Thus, we have 6 participating clubs from different birds, so there will be 6 winning birds at the end of the exhibition, and they will be Champions at the Kingdom level, and the competition was held in the presence of more than 13 arbitrators, including national referees from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and we have referees from the State of Bahrain, referees from Mexico, referees from the Netherlands, and referees From the State of Egypt, and from Austria.

And between Al-Qaisum, this exhibition is being held for the second year in a row at the Esperance Club in Qatif, and we thank all the referees participating with us in the exhibition, and we also thank all the participating members, and we thank every visitor who came from outside the Kingdom, as there were visitors from the Gulf and Arab countries, where there were visitors from the State of Egypt. Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, the Emirates and Qatar, and we were delighted by their presence. We extend our thanks to the Esperance Club, and we especially thank the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture for providing the opportunity to hold this exhibition.
For his part, the Director General of the Branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the Eastern Province, Engineer Fahd Al-Hamzi, explained the importance of these activities in enhancing environmental diversity and encouraging bird breeding according to the highest standards, stressing that these efforts come in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which seeks to enhance environmental sustainability, including Includes the development of the bird breeding sector.
