Russian Kudermutova and English Burage qualify for the Al Habtoor Tennis Challenge final

Dubai, 7 December / WAM / The 26th edition of the Al Habtoor International Tennis Challenge Championship for women will conclude tomorrow, Sunday, as the final matches of the singles and doubles competitions will be held on the courts of the Al Habtoor Grand Resort in Jumeirah Dubai.
In the final of the singles competition, Russian Polina Kudermutova, the first seed in the tournament, will meet British Judy Burage, after they qualified from the semi-finals that were held today, Saturday.
Judy Burage was able to overcome Belgian Sofia Kostolas, winning in two unanswered sets with a score of 6-4, 6-3. In the second match, Russian Kudermutova achieved a difficult victory over Filipino Alexandra Ayala, seeded fourth, by two sets to one, with a score of 4-6, 6-2, 6-2.

In the doubles competition, the first-seeded duo, consisting of the Czech Anastasia Detsyuk and the Russian Anastasia Tikhonova, qualified for the final after defeating the duo consisting of the Russian Tatiana Brzerova and the Croatian Tara Worth, in two unanswered sets, with a score of 6-4 and 6-4.
