The in-kind registration of 37,000 real estate plots in Makkah Al-Mukarramah has begun

Today, the Real Estate Registry announced the start of receiving applications for the first in-kind registration of (37,023) real estate plots in Makkah Al-Mukarramah.
The registration includes the following neighborhoods: (the new Shamiya neighborhood, part of the new Shubaika neighborhood, part of the new Al-Falq neighborhood, part of the new Harat Al-Bab neighborhood, part of the new Al-Qashashiya neighborhood, part of the new Al-Misial neighborhood, part of the new Al-Hajla neighborhood, and part of the new Al-Hajla neighborhood. Tuwa, part of the Taiba neighborhood.

Beneficiary neighborhoods

Registration includes: part of the Hamra neighborhood, part of the Yamama neighborhood, part of Maad neighborhood, part of the University neighborhood, part of the Sanabel neighborhood, part of the Tarwiyah neighborhood, part of the Sharia neighborhood, part of the Maqam neighborhood, and part of the Wadi Jalil neighborhood, And part of Al-Safa neighborhood, part of Al-Maghmis neighborhood, parts of Al-Adl neighborhood, parts of Cordoba neighborhood, and parts of Al-Khadra neighborhood).
Owners of real estate located within the neighborhoods that benefit from the real estate registry must register their property before the end of March 13, 2025 AD, corresponding to Ramadan 13, 1446 AH.
The location of the property can be verified if it is within the areas declared through the Land Registry platform.
The Real Estate Registry called on real estate owners to register their properties through the Real Estate Registry platform and communicate with the Customer Service Center 199002, to inquire about registration procedures and steps, during the specified period to benefit from the Real Estate Registry services and implement real estate transactions easily and conveniently, and avoid the penalties and fines specified by the real estate registration system. .
The Real Estate Registry confirmed that it is continuing its work in registering real estate in the areas that benefit from the Real Estate Registry, as part of its efforts to increase reliability and transparency in the sector by building a comprehensive real estate registry for real estate information in the Kingdom, which will be a unified reference for all real estate data.

Property number

The real estate registry will issue a “property number” and an ownership registration instrument for each real estate unit that is registered. The new ownership registration instrument includes the precise geographical location of the property, its owner’s information, descriptions, condition, and subsequent rights and obligations, and all real estate transactions that occur to it, to be the basis for documenting ownership and the real estate rights resulting from it. .
This contributes to the sustainability and enhancement of the real estate sector and its main capabilities. It is noteworthy that real estate areas are determined according to several criteria and based on the role of the General Real Estate Authority, as it is the authority responsible for in-kind registration of real estate in accordance with the decision of the Council of Ministers and the provisions of the real estate registration system.
