Tamkeen launches the Open Innovation Program with the aim of encouraging institutions to adopt innovative solutions

Based on its commitment to promoting innovation in the local market and with the aim of encouraging emerging, small and medium enterprises to innovate, research and develop, the Labor Fund “Tamkeen” announced the signing of a partnership agreement with “BRINK” to launch the Open Innovation Programme, as the program will contribute to helping large enterprises address the challenges they face. By benefiting from the innovative solutions provided by emerging, small and medium enterprises.
In its first edition, the program aims to focus on leading Bahraini companies in the manufacturing, financial services and communications sectors, where the most prominent challenges facing these institutions will be assessed, then linked to emerging or small and medium enterprises with the aim of working to develop solutions that contribute to overcoming these challenges.
On this occasion, Her Excellency Mrs. Maha Abdul Hamid Mafeez, CEO of the Labor Fund “Tamkeen”, said that this program complements Tamkeen’s other efforts in enhancing the business environment in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which is one of the strategic priorities for this year, as building bridges of communication between major and leading companies in Various fields, and emerging, small and medium enterprises that have the ability to create quality and efficient support solutions, which enhances the opportunities for constructive partnerships between these institutions and increases the opportunities for growth and development of emerging, small and medium enterprises, while providing large companies with the opportunity to obtain… It obtains specialized solutions that suit its needs and develop its operations and productivity.

Tamkeen will provide support during the initial solutions development phase for the projects.
