4 billion dirhams in Sharjah real estate transactions in November

Sharjah, December 11, 2024 – The real estate sector in the Emirate of Sharjah achieved a volume of real estate transactions that reached 4 billion dirhams during the month of November 2024, while the total number of transactions reached 4,606 transactions, and the total volume of the area traded in sales transactions reached 20.4 million square feet during the same period. month.
The monthly statistical data issued by the Real Estate Registration Department indicated that the total number of transactions carried out during the month of November 2024 reached 4,606 transactions, with 1,522 sales transactions representing 33% of the total number of transactions, while mortgage transactions reached 339 transactions representing 7.4% of the total transactions, with a value of 668. One million dirhams, while other transactions amounted to 2,745 transactions, with a share of 59.6% of the total number of transactions.

Sales transactions took place in 116 areas distributed across various cities and regions of the Emirate of Sharjah, and these properties included residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural lands. Regarding the type of real estate traded, 925 vacant lands were traded, while the number of transactions for detached towers reached 322 transactions, while transactions for built lands reached 275 transactions.

The Muwaileh commercial area recorded the highest real estate deal concluded in Sharjah during the month of November on vacant land for 180 million dirhams. The Muwaileh Commercial District also recorded the highest mortgage transaction recorded during the same month on built-up land, at 51 million dirhams.

The total number of sales transactions in the city of Sharjah reached 977 transactions, and the Muwailih commercial area continued to lead the list of the highest areas in the number of sales transactions with 161 transactions, followed by the “Hoshi District” area with 104 transactions, then the Al Khan area with 85 transactions, and the “Umm Fannin” area with 83 transactions. .

As for the areas with the highest turnover in cash trading volume, the Muwailih commercial area topped with a trading value that reached 470.7 million dirhams, followed by Umm Fannin with 157.8 million dirhams, then the “Hawshi neighborhood” area with 104.5 million dirhams, then the Tilal area with 94.6 million dirhams.
In the Central Region, the total sales transactions reached 509 transactions, most of which were concentrated in Al Qasimia City with 473 transactions, which was also the highest region in terms of cash trading volume, which amounted to 334.2 million dirhams.
While 16 sales transactions took place in the city of Khor Fakkan, where the “Al Harai Industrial District” topped the list with 5 transactions, while the “Al Batha 4” area came as the highest area in terms of cash trading volume with 5.7 million dirhams.
In the city of Kalba, 15 sales transactions took place, topped by the “Sur Kalba Commercial” area with 4 transactions, and the “Sur 4” area was the highest area in cash trading volume, which amounted to 3.2 million dirhams.
