The young star Sherif El Chaashay was able to prove his feet on the path to stardom, after he succeeded in grabbing attention from his first steps through his role in the series “The Choice”, which was his entry into the world of acting, and after that he shined from one role to another to become one of the most important… Young stars.
He attracted attention through his participation in two currently airing series, “A Feeling Witr” and “Haasa’ Watar” And “Tita Zuzu”, through which she demonstrated his talent and excellence. He is passionate about his work and loves everything related to acting, and he has charted a special path for himself that is not similar to the paths of others, with his talent and intelligence in choosing artistic roles.
"Rosa Al-Youssef Gate" She met Sherif El Chaashay in a frank interview, during which he revealed many details about his artistic works, and in which she talked about his work with big stars and his ambitions to reach the international level.
– In the beginning, he achieved a prominent presence by participating in the series “Watar Hasas” Currently showing, did you expect that the character of “Abdul Rahman / Bebo” would be achieved? All this success and positive reactions?
Abdul Rahman’s character is a very different character, different from the rest of the characters in the series. More surprises and transformations in the character will appear throughout the series, and I expect the character to surprise the audience. Over the course of the coming episodes, so far Abdul Rahman’s appearance has raised many questions for the audience and I expect, God willing, a big surprise for the audience in the coming episodes.
- Moving on to the series “Tita Zuzu”… How did you receive the audience’s praise of Marwan’s character and what excited you about her?
Marwan’s character in the series Tita Zuzu It was a very big surprise for me, because I did not imagine that the audience that would meet me in the street would say to me, “Why did you chop Rushdie?” Marwan, you chopped up Rushdie, why did we love Rushdie? And I discovered that all the Egyptian people, especially women, especially older ladies, needed a Rushdie character. They all loved the idea of artificial intelligence, to have someone to entertain them and talk to them, and therefore Marwan’s character was a surprise to me. I loved him. I really liked the idea of it.
– You put a lot of effort into the character of Tariq Al-Yamani in the series Al-Awda.. How did you prepare for the character, especially since the role was not easy, and what difficulty did you face?
Tariq Al-Yamani I consider him the closest character I have ever presented to my heart, because this role was a very big challenge to present a Upper Egyptian character, especially the challenges of form, language, and logic, and this character was for me one of the most important and sweetest things that I enjoyed and I put a lot of effort into, and we worked together. We prepared for the role and held sessions with a linguistic corrector to talk, learn, and study. We held sessions in workshops and work sessions, and we worked hard and studied, and thank God it came out in this way, and thank God the audience received it successfully and in a good way.
– She starred in the series “The Choice 2” As “The Terrorist Badr” And you achieved remarkable success.. What is the peculiarity of the series in your artistic career?
At the beginning of the series, I did not imagine that director Peter Mimi would choose me as a terrorist in the character of Badr in the series The Choice 2, and when It happened, I sat with him and we talked, and he decided that this terrorist would be like all Egyptians. He would not have obvious motives and he would not be fanatical and grow a beard and all these things. On the contrary, he would be a very simple university young man whose goals and convictions were political. She is what makes him a terrorist, but he was not a terrorist according to the puritanical logic as much as his convictions were terrorist, and the character of Badr was “a blessing to me,” and for me he was my beginning and my birth certificate artistically, and thank God I love the character of Badr very much.

There is no specific role that I wish to perform. I like any role that has something different for me. I do not like to My roles are similar to each other. I love all roles that contain a goal and a challenge, and therefore any role that is challenging for me may be the most important role for me, and I dream of working with all the professors who add to me and I feel that I am adding something with them to the work that will bring us together. I dream of working with All the great professors who add something to me and I benefit from them, and of course there are many of them.

My ambitions are – Like many actors, we are thinking about how to reach the international level and honor the name of Egypt and represent this matter in a respectful and professional manner. This is one of my most important ambitions, to bring Egyptian acting, our form, our way, our customs and our traditions to the world and to export it in a professional manner and to respect the mind of the public. My ambitions are to present works that respect the mind of the people and appreciate the audience. Watching them and I hope, God willing, people will like them and I will achieve this.
