A special conclusion to the program "Badge" The culmination of a month of celebration of authentic Emirati identity and heritage


Abu Dhabi, March 23 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority concluded with remarkable success the sixteenth season of the Badge Programme, after a month full of competitions and heritage segments that attracted the interest of a wide audience from various segments of society in the UAE.
The program episodes continued until the third day of Eid al-Fitr in a special festive atmosphere, as the winners of the final draws for the cash and in-kind prizes presented by the sponsors were announced, amid great interaction from the audience via phone calls and participation through the channels designated for the program.
The “Al Shara” program was produced by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Media Network, and presented, over the course of about a month, diverse heritage content that highlighted Emirati customs and traditions, Nabati poetry, popular proverbs, and inherited tales, in addition to the vocabulary of the Emirati dialect and details of the old Emirati house, in addition to the history of castles and towers and the most prominent traditional professions and crafts.
The current season was distinguished by a new visual design in an artistic vision that expresses the national identity and Emirati authenticity. Artificial intelligence techniques were also employed in the design of castles that symbolize the regions of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which added an innovative visual dimension that enhances the viewers’ experience and brings the heritage closer to new generations.
The sixteenth season also included a group of various traditional segments and competitions that gave the public the opportunity to participate and win valuable prizes, most notably the “Poetic Puzzle” competition, the “Melody and Poem” competition, the “Mandoos” competition, the council visits segment, the popular cooking competition, in addition to the “Jabbar’s Girls” competition and the “Gator” competition, in addition to the daily and weekly draws that received great interaction.
The sixteenth season of “The Badge” program confirms its continued success in providing content that combines knowledge and entertainment, and contributes to preserving Emirati heritage and strengthening national identity, within a contemporary media framework that meets the aspirations of the audience and keeps pace with technical development in the television content industry.
