“AlexJet” and “Falcon” submit a letter of intent to obtain an “air operator” certificate

The General Civil Aviation Authority announced the receipt of a letter of intent from AlexJet and Falcon Aviation Services, during the Middle East and North Africa Private Aviation Exhibition (MEPA 2024), which is considered a pivotal step to begin the process of AlexJet obtaining the operator’s certificate. In addition, the General Authority of Civil Aviation announced that it granted Falcon Technic an accredited maintenance organization certificate for aircraft maintenance, repair and refurbishment services.

This came on the sidelines of the Authority’s participation in the Middle East and North Africa Private Aviation Exhibition (MEPA 2024), which recently concluded in Dubai.

The new Falcon Technic facility, with an area of ​​​​13,705 thousand square meters, is located in the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Center in Dubai, and is equipped with the latest technology to serve a wide range of aircraft, including large aircraft such as the Airbus A380. The facility also provides customized services. For owners and operators of luxury aircraft, it provides private lounges, advanced workshops, an interior design studio, and high-quality maintenance services.

The Director General of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, said: “Falcon Technic’s obtaining the certificate of an accredited maintenance organization constitutes a qualitative addition to the aviation system in the country, and enhances the competitiveness of the sector by providing world-class services, which supports the UAE’s vision of consolidating its position as a safe destination.” Sustainable for civil aviation.

In addition to expanding its accreditations, Falcon Technic is working to enhance its services through specialized workshops, including interior design, wheels and brakes, non-destructive testing (NDT), batteries, and aircraft painting. These facilities aim to provide comprehensive solutions for maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft for the Falcon Lux fleet and external operators.
