There is a remarkable turnout for the activities of the “Mahayil Front” tourism festival in Asir

The Mahayil Tourism Festival in Mahayil Governorate – 80 kilometers northwest of the city of Abha – witnessed a remarkable turnout of visitors last weekend.
The festival occupies an area of ​​more than 45,000 square meters next to Mahayil General Hospital on Al Haila Road, and includes shopping and family entertainment areas, in addition to specialized restaurants and cafes, and a bird park that displays a number of rare birds.

Winter tourism programs

A tour by the Saudi News Agency (SPA) at the festival, which comes within the winter tourism programs organized by the Asir Region Municipality, monitored the interest of visitors to participate and interact with the accompanying entertainment activities such as children’s theatre, theatrical and singing performances, and folklore performances presented by popular bands representing the various governorates of Asir.
The marketing section is witnessing the most significant demand, as it contains pavilions selling household supplies, clothes, perfumes, sweets, and household tools.
This year, the festival offers various educational, artistic and sporting activities, the most prominent of which is the Arabic Calligraphy Corner, during which the Saudi calligrapher Siraj Al-Omari presents an overview of the arts of Arabic calligraphy and draws on souvenirs for visitors. The “Persian Stud” also witnesses a demand from visitors who are keen to learn horse riding and archery skills. .
