For its fifth session, the Red Sea Festival opens the door for films

The International Film Red Sea Festival revealed the opening of the application for films to participate in the fifth session of the festival to be held during the period from 4-13 December 2025 AD, at the vibrant festival headquarters “Al -Balad”, the historic Jeddah.
The festival urged both the prestigious cinematic names and rising film makers from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Arab world, Africa and Asia to submit their requests from today, May 6 to August 17, 2025 AD, with the end of the “free” early application period by July 7, 2025 AD.

The festival is looking to receive distinctive and unique cinematic projects, to highlight the captivating narratives from different countries, countries and languages, as part of its mission to celebrate the film industry locally and internationally, and films can submit their requests within the following cinematic departments: the Red Sea Competition for Long Films, the Red Sea Competition for Short Films, in addition to the section “Saudi Cinema” The new “concerned with highlighting the most prominent cinematic talents and creativity of Saudi film makers.
Films participating in the International Red Sea Film Festival will compete for the prestigious ease prizes, including the Golden Easy Award for Best Long feature film worth $ 100,000, in addition to other awards such as the Best Director Award, the Jury Prize, and the Golden Easy Award for Best Short Film.

Since its launch, the festival has shown more than 520 cinemas from 85 countries around the world, during which he celebrated the Saudi cinema with the presentation of more than 130 unique Saudi films, and was able to attract 160 exclusive cinematic shows globally.
