An earthquake measuring five on the Richter scale struck West Sumatra province in Indonesia.

Epicenter

The Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency stated that the epicenter of the earthquake occurred 78 kilometers from the city of Pariaman, located in the province, and at a depth of 20 kilometers.
There have been no reports of human casualties or material damage as a result of the earthquake so far.
