The digital currency Bitcoin exceeds $105,000 for the first time

The price of the digital currency Bitcoin rose by more than 3% to reach its highest level ever, exceeding $105,000 in early Asian trading on Monday, continuing its gains that began since the election of Donald Trump as President of the United States in November 2016, when he promised to support cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin recorded its highest level at $105,142, before settling in the latest trading at $104,760.
