With an attendance of more than 450,000 people…a stunning conclusion to the Soundstorm Festival
Across ten stages, international stars, alongside rising regional talent, delivered unforgettable performances to Soundstorm audiences, who engaged with the performances until the last note. Soundstorm 24 confirmed its position as the most prominent music and entertainment festival in the MENA region.

Over the course of three days, about 450,000 music fans from all over the world enjoyed a diverse spectrum of musical styles, presented by more than 200 artists and DJs on the festival’s ten stages, from classic Saudi and Egyptian rap to American alternative rock and electro house.
On its first night, Soundstorm 24’s celebration of winning the bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup constituted an unforgettable event in the festival’s history and a special place among the biggest events of 2024.

A distinctive way
Camila Cabello shined on the Big Beast stage on the final day of the festival, captivating thousands with her chart-topping songs, such as “Señorita,” and recreating her song “Havana” in a uniquely Saudi “Saudia-na-na-na” way, and the audience swayed to her voice. The Latina and her lively presence, and they cheered happily and loudly when she said in Arabic, “I am happy that I am here”!
Saudi icon Dalia Mubarak gave a distinguished performance that mixed Gulf classics and R&B music. Accompanied by instruments such as the oud and tambourine, she presented a performance that conveyed pride in Gulf heritage and celebrated contemporary music. Dalia’s strong stage presence and influential voice were an impressive example of the Kingdom’s evolving music scene. Before she started singing, Dalia said, “Soundstorm really inspires me.”
Unique combination
Ahmed Saad continued to dazzle the audiences with a unique blend of Arabic and pop melodies, and performed his famous songs “Al-Maluk” and “This Sweet Day”, and other widely popular songs, which made the audience sing along with him from the moment he stepped on the “Big Best” stage with… His amazing dance troupe.
The Prince of Arab Singing, Majed Al Mohandis, gave a charming performance in collaboration with DJ Aseel on the Big Beast stage, performing a collection of his best songs such as “Come” and “Al Jaw”, spreading joy and emotions among the audience.
From the huge Big Beast stage to the underground atmosphere, the closing day celebrated an amazing variety of artists, such as “Balu”, who presented an impressive array of house rhythms, jazz, funk and disco.

“Sira” band
Meanwhile, the Arab female band “Sira” continued to play psychedelic rock music on the DownBest stage, providing an additional reason for fans of the Saudi music scene to put it on their follow-up list, while the American “Ross” brought his distinctive blend of hip-hop, rap and R&B to the DownBest stage. Best.
The artist, “Modi Al-Shamrani,” concluded the performances on the Big Beast Theater with her strong voice and traditional Saudi style, celebrating Saudi music and culture. She dazzled the audience with her songs that combined heritage and contemporary tunes, leaving a wonderful impression with her strong presence on stage and her ability to communicate with the audience, making it the final moments of Soundstorm 24. Unforgettable.

From the pioneering performances presented by international stars such as Eminem, Calvin Harris, Camila Cabello and David Guetta on the Soundstorm stages in its fifth edition this year, to the inspiring energy broadcast by regional stars, such as Abdel Majeed Abdallah, Dalia Mubarak, Elissa, Ruby and Ahmed Saad.
Riyadh has become a beacon of creativity, music, and harmony. With its conclusion, the festival confirms a truth that is no longer in doubt, which is that “this is the time for Riyadh,” raising expectations more than ever before, and making the world wait for it in its sixth edition next year, 2025.
