King Salman Relief Center removes 846 mines through a project "Pores" In Yemen within a week

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center project “Masam” was able to To clear Yemeni lands of mines during the second week of December 2024, by removing 846 mines in various regions of Yemen, including 3 anti-personnel mines, 39 anti-tank mines, 803 unexploded ordnance, and one explosive device.

&nbsp In Aden Governorate, the “Masam” team was able to… It removed 22 anti-tank mines and 432 unexploded ordnance, one anti-tank mine in Al-Khawkha District in Al-Hudaydah Governorate, two anti-tank mines in Al-Mudaraba District in Lahj Governorate, and two anti-personnel mines in Ain District in Shabwa Governorate.

&nbsp In Taiz Governorate, the team removed one unexploded ordnance and one explosive device in the district Al-Mukha, cleared one anti-tank mine and 14 unexploded ordnance in Dhubab District, cleared one anti-personnel mine, 13 anti-tank mines and 14 other unexploded ordnance in Al-Muzaffar District, and cleared 342 unexploded ordnance in Mawza District.

  This brings the number of mines cleared during the month of December to 1,654 mines, bringing the number of mines to Removed since the beginning of the “Masam” project. So far, 472,688 mines have been planted randomly in various Yemeni territories to claim more innocent victims, including children, women and the elderly.
