"Trends" The Turkish SETA Foundation discusses enhancing research cooperation

Abu Dhabi, December 18 / WAM / The Trends Center for Research and Consultation hosted a delegation from the Turkish Political, Economic and Social Research Foundation “SETA” in a panel discussion at the center’s headquarters, in the presence of Ahmed Salama, Senior Economic Advisor at the UAE Mission in Türkiye.

The seminar discussed ways to enhance joint research cooperation and exchange views on regional and international issues of common interest.

Discussions focused on the importance of academic and research cooperation between the Trends Center and the SETA Foundation, as well as with other intellectual centers in Türkiye in general.

The need to enhance communication to exchange experiences and knowledge on the most prominent regional and international issues was emphasized, most notably current regional issues, geopolitical challenges, and ways to enhance stability and economic cooperation.

The role played by the Trends virtual office in Istanbul was also highlighted, as a platform to enhance research partnerships and facilitate communication with Turkish academic institutions and think tanks.

At the conclusion of the discussion session, the two sides stressed the importance of continuing research meetings and exchanging visits to strengthen academic and knowledge relations, and agreeing to develop joint research projects aimed at studying current challenges and developing strategies to deal with them in innovative and effective ways.
