Nahid Al-Sibai reveals why she did not greet Horeya Farghali?

Actress Nahed Al-Sibai responded to the controversy caused by the video clip that showed her refusal to kiss actress Houria Farghaly during their meeting a few days ago at the Cairo Short Film Festival.
Nahed Al-Sibai said in Posted on her Instagram account, she said that the issue had grown beyond its scope, and that she respected all her colleagues in the artistic field, and had not offended anyone in her life, and she wrote: “The issue has grown.” Okay, but I understand the impact of my actions and I want to clarify the current situation. I respect all my colleagues in the industry and I would never intentionally cause any offense, and I would like to clear up the misunderstanding because I am surprised by the reactions.
Nahed Al-Sibai added: “Regarding the issue that happened, I did not say hello because it was in the middle of an interview and the camera was running, and I did not want to interrupt it. It was an automatic reaction, and so I decided to write a general response so that everyone would understand the situation later. We greeted each other on the stage.”
On the artistic level, Nahid Al-Sibai finished filming the movie “The Pasha’s Daughters,” with the artists Zina, Sabreen, and Maryam Al-Khasht. The film’s events take place in the city of Tanta in a women’s hairdresser, where the story begins with a murder that reveals the nature of the relationships between the heroes. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Nora Naji.
As for Houria Farghali, she continues filming the film “The School,” noting that her most recent work was the series “Ayam.” Which was shown in 2021, and co-starred Ahmed Safwat, Riyad Al-Khouly, Salwa Khattab, and Sherry Adel.
