School students…a passion for “manga” and a journey of discovery at the Jeddah Book Fair

In a scene that reflects the vitality of the new generation and its passion for knowledge, male and female school students showed a remarkable presence at the Jeddah Book Fair 2024, organized by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority.
Students from various educational levels came, exploring the corners of the exhibition rich in treasures of knowledge, literature and science, and interacting with the accompanying cultural and artistic activities, including the “manga” and anime corner.

Publishing houses specializing in Japanese comics provided distinctive interactive activities, and students found in this corner an experience that combined creativity and cultural richness, which enhanced their interest in this growing art that inspires imagination and develops creative skills.
The demand was not limited to the advanced stages, but students in the primary stages showed special interest in the Children’s Corner and its various wings, which hosted educational and entertaining activities aimed at enhancing their love of reading from a young age.
