Trump: Musk will not become president

US President-elect Donald Trump confirmed that his ally, Elon Musk, cannot become president of the United States. Because he was not born in this country, in response to questions about the increasing political influence of the head of the “X” platform.
“Musk will not become president, I can tell you that,” Trump said during a rally in Phoenix, Arizona.
Addressing the crowd, he added: “I am calm. You know why? He cannot be like that. He was not born in this country,” referring to the head of Tesla and SpaceX, who was born in South Africa and obtained American citizenship.
He continued, “I like to be with smart people,” stressing that Musk is not working to become president.
Trump was responding to his critics, especially from the Democratic camp, who in recent days described the richest man in the world as “President Musk.” Given his presence on the political scene alongside the president-elect.
