Abdullah bin Zayed meets with the Kuwaiti Prime Minister and discusses fraternal relations between the two countries

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of the sisterly State of Kuwait, as part of a working visit by His Highness to the Kuwaiti capital.

During the meeting, they discussed the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the UAE and the State of Kuwait, and ways to enhance cooperation and joint work in various fields, including economic, trade, investment and development, in keeping with the aspirations of the two leaderships and the two brotherly peoples towards further progress and prosperity.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah welcomed His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the accompanying delegation, stressing the depth of the historical fraternal ties between the two countries.

For his part, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the UAE’s keenness to continue joint work with the sisterly State of Kuwait, and to build on the fruitful cooperation achieved, in a way that contributes to supporting the sustainable development process in the two countries, and realizing the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples towards a more prosperous future.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Theyab bin Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Trade Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Community Empowerment Shamma bint Suhail Al Mazrouei, Minister of Health and Community Protection Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State for Youth Affairs Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State Saeed bin Mubarak Al Hajri, and Sheikh Nahyan bin Saif Al Nahyan, Deputy Minister of State and UAE Ambassador to the UAE.
