The Egyptian Consulate in Jeddah organizes a competition between the youth of the Egyptian community and the youth of Al-Ittihad Club
The Egyptian Consulate General in Jeddah and the General Union of Egyptians Abroad, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia branch, are organizing a friendly football tournament between the youth of the Egyptian community and the youth of the Saudi Al-Ittihad Football Club. The tournament will be held at the headquarters of the Saudi Al-Ittihad Club in Jeddah. This is on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 AD.
The President of the General Union of Egyptians Abroad, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia branch, Dr. Saeed Yahya, explained that three teams will participate in the tournament according to age, the first team of 8 years to 11 years, the second team from 11 years to 13 years, and the third team from 13 years to 15 years.
They were trained and selected from Before the Academy of the Arab Contractors Club in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and under the supervision of Captain Ahmed Attia, Yahya indicated that each team will meet its counterpart from the buds of the Saudi Al-Ittihad Club, and the winning team from each age will receive the championship cup, and the second team of the same age will receive medals bearing the name of the championship.
The doctor added that the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, had made a video call with the Egyptian community teams in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia while they were performing training before the start of the tournament. His Excellency also spoke with Ambassador Ahmed Abdel Majeed, Consul General of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Jeddah, stressing the provision of all support to the youth and sports teams of the Egyptian community in the Kingdom.
