More than 3,000 visitors to the theatrical season of the Quarter Qarn Center in Sharjah

Sharjah, December 24 / WAM / The Quarter Qarn Center for Theater and Performing Arts concluded its theatrical season for this year yesterday, after its activities and events succeeded in attracting more than 3,000 visitors, including prominent figures in the artistic and cultural community, which were held in three locations, including the heart of Sharjah, Al Dhaid Fort, and Khor Fakkan Beach. .

The Center was keen for the Quarter Qarn season for theater and performing arts to be a platform for highlighting youth creativity, with a focus on developing the skills of participants in the Centre’s programs and workshops, with the participation of members of the Quarter Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, affiliated with Sharjah Children, Sajaya Sharjah Girls, and Sharjah and Sharjah Youth, to develop the capabilities of various age groups ranging from Between 6 and 31 years old.

This year’s season included 39 theatrical performances presented by more than 400 members from all 23 centers of Rub’u Qarn institutions spread across various cities and regions of the Emirate of Sharjah, in addition to the specialized centers affiliated with Rubu’ Qarn for Theater and Performing Arts (Puppet Arts Center and Performing Arts Center).

The performances varied between silent plays, purposeful social plays, musical theatre, puppet theatre, shadow fantasy and heritage plays, which reflected the cultural authenticity and popular heritage of the UAE, giving the season a unique character that blends modernity and tradition.
