"Sharjah Charity" Receives more than 10,000 requests for assistance in 2024

Sharjah, December 24 / WAM / The Sharjah Charitable Society received 10,645 requests for assistance throughout the current year, of which 9,092 requests were approved, representing 85.4% of the total requests submitted.

The association stated that applications related to housing assistance were the most submitted, amounting to 2,580 applications, followed by requests for therapeutic assistance, with 1,855 applications.

The association indicated that the aid provided during the year embodied its vision of sustaining leadership in charitable and humanitarian work and highlighted its commitment to the lofty values ​​it pursues to achieve its strategic goals. These goals also contributed to developing the general performance within the association and enhancing digitalization, as all applications submitted were received through the association’s website. This reflects its development in adopting technological solutions to provide services faster and more efficiently.
