The judo team fights 44 matches with its Japanese counterpart in Tokyo

Tokyo, March 23 / WAM / The Emirates Judo Federation announced that our national team will fight 44 matches with its Japanese counterpart, the “world champion”, during its current camp at Tokai University, in preparation for the Asian Adult Singles Championship in China during the period from 16 to 18 next April.

The Federation confirmed in a statement that the delegation of our national team arrived in the Japanese capital, Tokyo, yesterday, coming from the Republic of Kosovo, to complete the preparation program, according to the plan decided by the technical staff led by coach Viktor Syktrov.

For his part, His Excellency Muhammad bin Thaloub Al-Darai, President of the Federation, explained that the final list participating in the Asian Championship includes 11 players: Simon Constantine, “60 kg,” Nar Mand Bayan, “66 kg,” Naji Yazbek, and Muhammad Yazbek, “73 kg,” Talal Shafeli and Omar Gad, “81 kg,” Aram Goorjian, “90 kg,” and Dhafar Kossov, “under 100 kg.” Omar Marouf, “over 100 kg,” alongside the two athletes, Bashirat Kharudi, “52 kg,” and Eliza Letev, “78 kg,” in addition to Dr. Nasser Al-Tamimi, member of the National Olympic Committee, Vice President of the Federation, as head of the delegation.
