Al Salam Bank enhances youth financial awareness by hosting students from the American University of Bahrain in a specialized training program

As part of Al Salam Bank’s commitment to enhancing financial awareness and supporting youth, the bank recently hosted a delegation of students from the American University – Kingdom of Bahrain (AUBH) to learn about practical experiences in transforming traditional banking products into products compatible with Islamic Sharia.

The meeting included the presence of more than 15 male and female students, who participated in various sessions presented by officials from various departments of the bank, such as Sharia Compliance, Legal Affairs, Business Development, and Treasury. The program also included an introductory tour of the trading floor to view the bank’s daily operations.

Commenting on this visit, Ms. Mona Al Balushi, Head of Human Resources and Administrative Affairs at Al Salam Bank, said: “We are proud to support the efforts of the American University of Bahrain in empowering young people and enriching their knowledge. Al Salam Bank believes that investing in youth is an investment in the future, and we always look to enhance Our partnerships with academic institutions to contribute to the development of national competencies.
