The report also shows the number of profit-making institutions operating in the creative sectors in Dubai to 47,544 companies, which contributed to providing job opportunities for 175,727 employees, which reflects the size and impact of the creative economy in The emirate succeeded during the year 2023 in attracting 898 foreign direct investment projects in the cultural and creative industries sector, which led to an increase in the total capital flows of foreign direct investment projects in the sector to 11.8 billion dirhams.
The report confirms that Dubai has become home to more than 40% of startup businesses that have received funding amounting to more than a million dollars in the Middle East and North Africa region, with 306 startup companies based in the emirate, which is reflected in its position in the digital cities index, as It is ranked 15th in the world in terms of business environment in a list of 30 cities in the world.
