The National Center of Meteorology, in its weather report on Thursday in the Kingdom’s regions, expected continued thunderstorms.
He pointed out that the situation will be accompanied by active winds in parts of the regions of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha and Makkah Al-Mukarramah, with the chance of fog forming in parts of those areas, as well as in parts of the eastern region.
The Meteorological Center indicated the activity of surface winds causing dust and dust in parts of several regions, including Riyadh, Al-Qassim, Hail, Al-Jawf, and the northern border.
The situation in the Red Sea
Surface winds are: northerly to northwesterly at a speed of 10-30 km/h in the northern and central parts.
Southeasterly to southerly at a speed of 15-40 km/h, reaching more than 45 km/h towards the Bab al-Mandab Strait, while waves rise from half a meter to a meter in the northern and central parts.
From half a meter to one and a half meters on the southern part, it reaches above two meters towards the Bab al-Mandab Strait, while the sea state is from light to medium waves, reaching wavy towards the Bab al-Mandab Strait.

The situation in the Arabian Gulf
The surface winds will be northwesterly to northerly, turning from southeasterly to northeasterly in the evening at a speed of 10-28 km/hour, and the wave height will rise from half a meter to a meter, while the sea state: recorded light waves.
Yesterday Wednesday, the National Center of Meteorology interpreted the lines appearing in the sky as representing a recurring natural phenomenon, and the official spokesman for the National Center of Meteorology said through his account on the X platform: “The images circulating about the lines appearing in the sky represent a natural phenomenon.”
He continued: This phenomenon results from the condensation of water vapor resulting from the heat of aircraft engines, with high humidity and low temperatures in the upper atmosphere, and it is a frequent phenomenon.
