Urgent support for victims

On the side of humanitarian care, participants will discuss ways to provide integrated health care that includes urgent psychological and social support for victims, and specialized mental health treatment programs to overcome the effects of trauma.

Al-Zubaidi indicated that medical strategies will be put forward to prevent sexually transmitted diseases, and plans will be developed for the clinical management of suspected cases upon their arrival to health facilities.

At the organizational level, the forum aims to chart clear paths for reporting and protection. Multiple parties participate in it, to ensure rapid response and provide safe haven for affected cases.
